Zoo membership for a family of 7: $120.00
Cost of Stingray exhibit for 6: $6.00
Look on 3 year olds face watching the bobcats and caterpillars: Priceless
Have you ever noticed that you can take your kids to all these fabulous places just teaming with opportunities to learn all about various exotic and unique creatures only to discover all they really want to see is the mundane and ordinary?
Yes, my 3 year old was entranced by the large yellow caterpillars and growling white bobcat that were prowling the savanah at our zoo this week.
Conversation I had w/ above 3 year old:
Me: 3 year old, would you like to go look at the zebra's?
3 yo: No, that's ok. I want to watch the trucks.
Me after 5 min. : 3 year old, would you like to go see the baby baboon?
3 yo: No, that's ok. I want to watch the trucks.
Me after another 5 min.: 3 year old, would you like to see the lions?
3 yo: No, that's ok. I want to watch the trucks.
And so it continued until Daddy came over w/ the rest of the kids from the sting ray exhibit and it was time to go home.
And that is why you get a zoo membership. So you can go at any time to see the trucks.
